VATICAN CITY (AA) – Pope Francis appointed Polish monsignor Marek Solczynski as nuncio to Turkiye on Wednesday.
The Vatican said the Polish prelate worked as nuncio in Tanzania for the past five years and was now appointed as the papal ambassador to Turkiye.
Solczynski also represented the Holy See in Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan.
