ANKARA (AA) - US-based multinational consumer goods corporation Procter & Gamble saw its earnings and net sales increase in the first quarter of 2022, according to its financial results statement released Wednesday.
The company had net earnings of approximately $3.37 billion during the January-March period of this year, up 3.7% from almost $3.25 billion in the same period of last year.
Its net sales totaled almost $19.4 billion for the three months ending March -- a gain of 7.2% from $18.1 billion.
With strong results also surpassing market estimates, Procter & Gamble's stock price was up 0.87% at 8.30 a.m. EDT (1230GMT) before the opening bell of the New York Stock Exchange.
