ATHENS (AA) - Pro-Palestine demonstrators marched in Athens on Friday as part of the "Strike for Gaza" initiative, protesting Israeli attacks.
Several initiatives and organizations, including workers' unions and Stop the War alliance, had called for the action. Demonstrators gathered in downtown Athens and marched toward the parliament building to express solidarity with Palestine.
Protesters carried Palestinian flags, placards and chanted slogans such as "Freedom for Palestine" during the march.
