ANKARA (AA) - French Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint-Germain beat Germany’s Borussia Dortmund 2-0 at home late Wednesday to qualify for the Champions League quarterfinals.
In the last-16 first leg match, Dortmund defeated the French club at home 2-1, but PSG moved to the next round with a 3-2 aggregate win.
Neymar and Juan Bernat Velasco's goals in the first half brought their team victory while Dortmund midfielder Emre Can was dismissed after being shown the red card in the 89th minute.
The clash took place in an empty Stade de France due to the worsening novel coronavirus outbreak in France.
