MOSCOW (AA) - A meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US presidential envoy Steve Witkoff began in Moscow on Friday, the Kremlin said.
The presidential press service released a video showing Putin and Witkoff shaking hands and engaging in a brief exchange.
“How are you, Mr. President?” Witkoff inquired. “Fine, thanks,” Putin responded with a cordial nod.
Besides Putin, the Russian delegation includes his aide for international affairs, Yury Ushakov, and the head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, Kirill Dmitriyev.
