MUGLA, Turkey (AA) - Citroen driver Esapekka Lappi is leading the first day of Rally Turkey with an overall of 1:00:52.8 with three more stages to go on Friday.
Icmeler (SS2), Cetibeli (SS3) -- the longest stage of the weekend -- and Ula (SS4) stages have completed so far.
Drivers will repeat these three stages during the rest of the day.
Jari-Matti Latvala topped the SS2 and SS4 in his Toyota Yaris, while Lappi was the fastest in the SS3.
The three top contenders for the championship, Ott Tanak, Sebastien Ogier and Thierry Neuville were at sixth, fourth and seventh places based on the overall timetable.
