Release of Israeli hostages starts in Gaza Strip: Red Cross

7 hostages handed over to Red Cross, reports Israeli media

ISTANBUL (AA) - The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) announced on Monday morning the start of the process of releasing Israeli hostages in the Gaza Strip as part of a ceasefire agreement.

According to Israeli Channel 12, seven hostages were handed over to ICRC teams. I24 News Channel published the names of released hostages.

Twenty living Israeli hostages are set to be released on Monday in exchange for more than 2,000 Palestinian prisoners.
