ISTANBUL (AA) - Civil society organizations will present a report outlining Syria's future at a program in Istanbul on Saturday, the organizers said.
The event is being organized by the Cihannuma Association in cooperation with the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation and the Digital Hafiza Association, and will be hosted by Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakif University.
The program will be held at the university’s Halic Campus Conference Hall from 2 pm to 5 pm local time. It will begin with a reception followed by opening remarks from figures representing academia, civil society, humanitarian organizations and diplomacy.
Those scheduled to deliver opening remarks include Abdulkadir Macit, coordinator of Cihannuma’s “Theoretical Inquiries and Foresights” file; Selim Cerrah, chairman of the Cihannuma Association; Izzet Sahin, president of the Digital Hafiza Association; Bulent Yildirim, president of IHH; Nevzat Simsek, rector of Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakif University; and Nuh Yilmaz, Türkiye’s ambassador to Syria.
The program will also feature a screening of an IHH documentary on Syria before the main presentation session on "Syria Report: Foresights, Proposals and Solutions."
