ISTANBUL (AA) – At least eight people were killed in two residential fire incidents in China, state media reported on Tuesday.
The fire incidents were reported in China’s northern Shanxi province on Sunday and Monday – resulting in the death of eight people with 23 others injured.
According to Chinese daily Global Times, two separate residential buildings in the city of Luliang caught fire.
In a high-rise building housing 128 people, fire broke out late Monday and three deaths were confirmed until Tuesday morning.
In a separate incident in Linxian county, fire engulfed a 32-story building, killing five people on Sunday.
