ISTANBUL (AA) – At least 17 people were killed and three others were injured when a restaurant caught fire in China on Wednesday.
The incident occurred in the Changchun area of northeast Jilin province.
The injured have been rushed to a hospital, while local authorities have launched an investigation into the incident, the Chinese daily Global Times reported.
The restaurant's manager has been arrested for questioning, said the daily.
Latest reports said the search and rescue operation has been concluded, while the investigation is underway.
