ISTANBUL (AA) - In Türkiye, retail sales volume increased 9.5% year-on-year in October, official data showed on Tuesday.
Over the same period, food, drinks and tobacco sales rose 10.8%, non-food (except automotive fuel) sales soared 11.8%, and automotive fuel sales increased 1.1%, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) said.
Retail turnover climbed 133.6% in October versus the same month last year.
Retail sales via mail orders jumped 160.5% in October on an annual basis, according to TurkStat.
