RIYADH (AA) - The Saudi Foreign Ministry on Wednesday denied reports in regional media outlets alleging Riyadh’s “displeasure” with Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri's visit to Turkey last month.
In a statement, the ministry described the claims as "groundless", saying Saudi officials had entirely refrained from commenting on Hariri's visit to Ankara.
Some Middle Eastern media outlets reported this week that Saudi officials had registered “displeasure” with Hariri’s visit, during which the Lebanese PM met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
