Portuguese superstar scores 93 international goals, only 16 goals behind world record

ISTANBUL (AA) - Portugal beat Lithuania 5-1 in an away game in Euro 2020 qualifies on Tuesday when Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo scored 4 goals.

In his career, Ronaldo scored 93 international goals, 16 goals behind the world record.

The Portuguese star also scored 54 hat-tricks throughout his career.

Iran's Ali Daei holds the record for the most goals in international men's football, with 109 goals in 149 appearances.

- Goal bonanza in England - Kosovo match

Kosovo scored against England after just 34 seconds but they were defeated 5-3. All eight goals came in first 55 minutes.

England' goals came by Sterling (8' minutes), Kane (19' minutes), Vojvoda (38' minutes og), Sancho (44' minutes, 45'+1 minutes) while Kosovo's goal came by Berisha (1' minutes, 49' minutes), Muriqi (55' minutes pen).

England continue to top their group with a game in hand.


- Turkey tops Group H in Euro 2020 football qualifier

Following yesterday's results, Turkey has 15 points in Group H and sits atop the standings

Turkey took the top spot of Group H from France in Euro 2020 football qualifiers.

Turkey beat Moldova 4-0 in an away match on Tuesday night.

In other Group H matches, France defeated Andorra 3-0 at home to reach 15 points while Iceland lost to Albania 4-2 in an away game.

With its second loss in Group H, Iceland slipped to the third spot with 12 points in six matches.
