Russia announces swap of more war prisoners with Ukraine

Defense Ministry says 50 servicemen returned from Ukraine's captivity

MOSCOW (AA) - Russia on Thursday announced a new round of exchange of war prisoners with Ukraine.

The Defense Ministry said in a statement that 50 servicemen returned from Ukraine's captivity and they were provided with primary psychological and medical assistance.

They will be transported to Moscow for further medical treatment and rehabilitation later, it added.

On Wednesday, Russia said 35 war prisoners returned from Ukraine in a swap with Kyiv.
