MOSCOW (AA) - The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) said on Thursday it detained a US citizen on espionage charges.
"The American is suspected of collecting intelligence on biological topics directed against the security of the Russian Federation," the FSB said in a statement on its official website.
It did not provide any further details or personal information about the detained person.
