MOSCOW (AA) - A Russian MiG-31 fighter jet crashed during a training flight in the country’s Far East region, the Defense Ministry said on Tuesday.
“On July 4, while performing a planned training flight in the Kamchatka Territory, a MiG-31 fighter crashed over the waters of the Avacha Bay. The plane was flying without ammunition,” the ministry said.
Rescue teams are searching for two missing crew members, it added.
