ANKARA (AA) - Russia’s President Vladimir Putin will visit Saudi Arabia and the UAE next week, local media reported on Thursday.
“The long-awaited state visits by the Russian president to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates will take place on Monday and Tuesday,” broadcaster RT reported on its website, quoting the Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov.
According to Ushakov, Putin and Saudi king Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud will discuss the situation in the Middle East, as well as in Syria, the Persian Gulf region and Yemen.
Palestinian-Israeli settlement issue will also be on the agenda.
Putin’s visit was announced earlier by the Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to Russia, however, the date was not disclosed.
