Russian missiles strike 2 apartment blocks in Ukraine’s Donetsk region

No casualties reported thus far, says head of Ukrainian Presidential Office

ISTANBUL (AA) - Russian missiles on Sunday struck two apartment blocks in Ukraine’s eastern Donetsk region, said the head of the Ukrainian Presidential Office.

“The Russians continue to shell Avdiivka. They carried out a missile attack on two apartment blocks,” Andriy Yermak said in a message on his Telegram account.

Yermak added that no casualties were reported thus far.

Now in its second year, Russia’s war on Ukraine has so far killed 8,317 civilians and wounded 13,892 others, according to the latest UN figures.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
