MOSCOW (AA) - Russian President Vladimir Putin and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) agreed Tuesday to continue efforts to deepen cooperation in the political, trade, economic, and humanitarian spheres.
The two leaders held a call ahead of the 100th anniversary on Feb. 19 of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and Saudi Arabia, according to a Kremlin statement.
"It is noted with satisfaction that bilateral relations have reached a high level, acquired a truly multifaceted and mutually beneficial nature," it said.
Putin and MBS also highlighted the progress of joint work in the "OPEC+" format to ensure the stability of the global energy market, said the statement.
They also discussed international and regional issues and agreed to stay in touch.
