ISTANBUL (AA) – Sacramento Kings star Domantas Sabonis will be out for at least 10 days after suffering a moderate ankle sprain, the NBA confirmed Wednesday.
"Sabonis suffered his injury in the third quarter of Monday’s 132-122 win against the Memphis Grizzlies," it said in a statement.
"He also sustained a cut over his left eye and blood trickled down his face after he was hit in the face by the back of Luke Kennard’s head in that game as well," it added.
Sabonis, 28, has averaged 19.2 points, 13.9 rebounds and 6.2 assists in 58 games this season.
