Saudi, Pakistan defense chiefs reaffirm strategic partnership in bilateral talks

ISTANBUL (AA) – Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman on Thursday held talks in Riyadh with Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defense Forces, Field Marshal Asim Munir, reaffirming strong relations between the two countries and their strategic defense partnership.


In a post on US social media company X, Prince Khalid said the meeting focused on strengthening bilateral military ties and advancing joint efforts to promote global peace and security in line with the shared interests of Riyadh and Islamabad.


The talks come amid heightened regional tensions, as Riyadh and Islamabad maintain close coordination across defense and security matters.
