TUNIS, Tunisia (AA) – A Tunisian security guard was stabbed outside Brazil’s embassy in the capital Tunis on Monday, according to the country’s Interior Ministry.
A ministry statement said the guard was stabbed by a sharp object “by a person he was questioning about the reason for his presence in the perimeter of the embassy.”
The statement did not specify the condition of the injured guard.
According to the statement, the attacker was shot in the leg and was taken into custody.
