ANKARA (AA) - Italian top-tier Serie A club Roma prolonged their Serbian left back Aleksandar Kolarov's contract on Tuesday.
"Aleksandar Kolarov has signed a contract extension with the Giallorossi that runs until 2021!," Roma said on Twitter.
Kolarov said that he was very happy to stay at the club.
"I want to keep improving - physically, technically, my shooting ... everything. At my age fitness is key, and I feel good. I’m convinced I can still improve a bit every day," the 34-year-old defender added.
Kolarov joined Roma in July 2017.
During his 2,5-year spell at Roma, he scored 17 goals and produced 18 assists in 113 appearances.
Kolarov previously played for English Premier League powerhouse Manchester City and Roma's city rivals Lazio.
He helped Man City win the Premier League in 2012 and 2014.
