ISTANBUL (AA) – South Korea’s LG Group has launched an artificial intelligence-based financial agent in partnership with the London Stock Exchange Group, Yonhap News reported Sunday.
The platform, called EXAONE Business Intelligence (EXAONE-BI), is capable of producing complete financial reports without human involvement, according to LG AI Research.
A launch ceremony was held Friday in London, where LG AI Research and the London Stock Exchange Group presented the system. Officials said EXAONE-BI can integrate and process vast amounts of data to deliver market forecasts.
“While other financial AI services exist, they have often been limited by lower accuracy or served as auxiliary tools for summarization,” LG AI Research said in a statement. “The launch of EXAONE BI is a direct response to the increasing demand for advanced financial data and analytics, driven by market volatility and the growing importance of data-driven decision making.”
The system consists of four AI agents — a journalist, economist, analyst, and decision-maker — designed to cooperate in producing comprehensive analysis.
LG AI Research added that the collaboration represents a milestone in showcasing South Korea’s AI competitiveness on the global stage.
