ANKARA (AA) - Spain's annual consumer inflation fell for the third consecutive month in October, according to data released by the National Statistics Institute (INE) on Tuesday.
Consumer prices in October increased 7.3% year-on-year, down from 8.9% in September, thanks to decrease in energy prices.
Price growth also decreased in housing and utilities (2.6% in October versus 14.2% in September), transport (8.8% from 9.4%), and clothing and footwear (1.4% from 3.9%).
On a monthly basis, the Consumer Prices Index increased 0.3% in October.
