ISTANBUL (AA) - A strong earthquake of magnitude 6 struck off Indonesia on Monday, the country’s geophysics agency said.
The epicenter of the earthquake was 46 km (28.5 miles) northwest of the Southeast Asian nation’s Maluku province in Seram Island, according to the BMKG.
With a depth of 10 km (6.2 miles), there were no immediate reports of damage due to the tremor.
The earthquake occurred at 17:32:17.163 UTC according to USGS, which reported the earthquake as of 5.8 magnitude.
