ANKARA (AA) – Two high school students were arrested in eastern France for false bomb alerts in school, local media reported on Thursday.
A 15-year-old student of Camus-Sermenaz High School in Rillieux-la-Pape town of Lyon city has sent several bomb alerts since Jan. 19 via email, according to broadcaster BFMTV.
Classes have been canceled, exams have been postponed, and police have been sent to the school.
He also sent death threats to teachers via email.
The student was arrested and told the police that his schoolmate incited him to do so to get classes canceled.
Police arrested another student of same age, who denied the accusations.
Both teenagers were placed into police custody.
