ISLAMABAD (AA) - Taliban security forces on Thursday neutralized a suicide bomber who attempted to enter a government building in the capital Kabul, an official said.
Abdul Matin Qane, spokesman for the interim Interior Ministry, told Tolo News that the suicide bomber was neutralized "before reaching his target" near the Urban Development and Housing Ministry building.
Urban Development and Housing Ministry spokesman Mohammad Kamal Afghan said one person was killed and three others were injured in the incident.
The incident comes two days after a suicide bomber blew himself up outside the Kabul Bank in the northern Kunduz province, killing several people including Taliban soldiers and civilians.
