CAIRO (AA) – An explosion rocked Egypt's capital late Monday when a man blew himself up near Al-Azhar mosque, causing several casualties, local media reported.
At least two police officers were killed and another two injured in the attack, the Interior Ministry was quoted as saying.
The blast occurred after police surrounded the suspect following a chase.
