GENEVA (AA) – The body of a gunman linked to a triple shooting at an Islamic center in Zurich was found by Swiss police on Tuesday.
The attacker’s body was found near the mosque after the Monday night shooting. He appeared to have committed suicide, Zurich police said at a news conference.
There is no evidence the attacker was linked to the Daesh terrorist group, police added.
The gunman was identified only as a 24-year-old Swiss male.
Two of the three victims -- all Somalis -- were aged 30 and 35 and were seriously injured. A third man, 56, sustained less-serious wounds.
Their relationship to the gunman remains unclear.
