ANKARA (AA) - The Turkish foreign minister and a top Kosovar official had a phone conversation on Wednesday, said Turkish diplomatic sources.
Mevlut Cavusoglu, in Brussels for a NATO foreign ministers’ meeting, congratulated Fikrim Damka on his new assignment as Kosovo’s regional development minister, said the sources, who asked not to be named due to restrictions on speaking to the media.
Albin Kurti was elected Kosovo’s prime minister on Monday for a second time after winning a vote of confidence on March 22.
Damka, leader of the Turkish Democratic Party of Kosovo (KDTP), became minister of regional development in the new government.
