WASHINGTON (AA) - US President Donald Trump said on Friday that he will sign next week an executive order promoting plastic straws.
"I will be signing an Executive Order next week ending the ridiculous Biden push for Paper Straws, which don’t work. BACK TO PLASTIC!" Trump said on Truth Social.
Last year, the Biden administration ordered a phase out of single-use plastic in federal food service by 2027, and from all other federal operations by 2035.
