WASHINGTON (AA) - President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Tuesday to withdraw the US from the UN Human Rights Council.
The order is also slashing future funding to the Palestinian refugee agency, UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA).
In his first presidency, Trump pulled Washington out of the rights body, which Republican lawmakers criticized for alleged bias against Israel.
The signing occurred on the day Trump is set to meet Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House.
