ADANA, Turkey (AA) - At least 14 people have been taken into custody in Turkey’s southern Adana province on suspicion of fraud for the terrorist organization Daesh.
The suspects were collecting illegal taxes by threat, force, and violence for Daesh, the counter-terrorism branch of the Adana police said in a statement on Thursday.
An alleged terrorist identified as M.O., who made decisions for the group, was among those captured.
Police also confiscated money, guns, and and organizational and digital documents during the operations.
