Turkey: 50-year-old rescued 17 hours after earthquake

24 killed, more than 800 injured in powerful quake that struck Turkey's Aegean coast

IZMIR, Turkey (AA) - A 50-year-old woman was rescued on Saturday 17 hours after an earthquake jolted Turkey’s Aegean Izmir province.

Nurcan Tosun was rescued from the rubble in the Seferihisar district.

Twenty-four people were killed and at least 804 injured in the magnitude-6.6 earthquake on Friday.
