ANKARA (AA) - The Turkish Air Forces killed at least two PKK terrorists in the southeastern Sirnak and Diyarbakir provinces late Wednesday, the Turkish General Staff said.

The terrorists were slain in airstrikes on the terrorist PKK, according to a statement.

At least two PKK terrorists were killed and one bunker/weapons pit was destroyed in Ikiyakalar in the Sirnak province and the Diyarbakir province's Lice district.

More than 1,200 people, including security force personnel and civilians, have lost their lives since the PKK -- listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S., and EU -- resumed its decades-long armed campaign in July 2015.
