ANKARA (AA) - Turkey on Thursday has frozen assets of Iraqi-born Hajji Abd al-Nasir for his links to terror groups, in line with the UN Security Council resolutions.
Under the presidential decree, just published in the Official Gazette, al-Nasir’s assets are frozen for being associated with the Daesh and Al-Qaeda terror groups.
According to the UN Security Council Committee resolutions 1267, 1988, and 1989, “All states are required to freeze without delay the funds and other financial assets or economic resources of designated individuals and entities.”
