Turkey to host Romanian, Polish foreign ministers

Ministers will discuss defense, security during meeting in capital Ankara

ANKARA (AA) - The Turkish, Romanian, and Polish foreign ministers will gather in capital Ankara on Friday for political-military consultations, Turkish Foreign Ministry said on Thursday.

"In the meeting, the outcome of NATO Foreign Ministers’ Meeting held in Washington D.C. on April 4, 2019, on the occasion of NATO's 70th Anniversary, will be assessed and preparations of the Leaders’ Summit to be held by the end of this year will be reviewed," the ministry said in a statement.

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, along with Romanian counterpart Teodor Melescanu and Poland's Jacek Czaputowicz will also discuss cooperation on defense and security, the statement added.
