ANKARA (AA) - Turkey's benchmark stock index rose by 0.47% to close at 87,186.3 points on Wednesday.
Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index started the day at 86,932.70 points and gained 408.68 points from Tuesday's close of 86,777.63 points.
In Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets, the price of one ounce of gold was around $1,285.10 by market close, up from $1,278.80 the previous day.
The price of Brent crude oil was around $67.70 per barrel as of 6 p.m. (1500GMT) Wednesday.
