Turkey’s parliament speaker to visit N.Macedonia

Mustafa Sentop is to meet with North Macedonia’s President Stevo Pendarovski

ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkey’s parliament speaker leaves for North Macedonia’s capital for an official visit on Saturday.

Along with his parliamentary delegation, Mustafa Sentop is scheduled to meet with Stevo Pendarovski, the nation's president.

Sentop is also to pay a visit to International Balkan University in the capital and to attend an evening iftar meal to break the fast of Ramadan, the Muslim holy month.

On Sunday, Sentop and his delegation are due to proceed to Bosnia and Herzegovina to meet with Bakir Izetbegovic, head of the nation's House of Peoples, in the capital Sarajevo.

The delegation will later visit the tomb of Alija Izetbegovic, the country's founding president, at the Martyrs' Memorial Cemetery of Kovaci and later attend an iftar dinner in the city of Livno.
