Turkish aid agency to host iftar for 15,000 Yemenis

Iftar meals will be given in regions worst hit by civil war in Yemen

ADEN, Yemen (AA) - Turkish state aid agency will host iftar or fast-breaking meal for 15,000 people in Yemen during the holy month of Ramadan, an agency official said Wednesday.

The iftar meals will be given in the Yemen's Aden, Lahij, Abyan, Dahle and Taiz, Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA)’s Yemen coordinator Abdullah Sari said.

He said this year’s iftar program will reach mostly Yemenis who have been worst hit by the civil war, and for those living rural areas of the country.
