ANKARA (AA) - Turkish Airlines will launch direct flights between the popular southern holiday resort of Antalya and Algeria as of July 8, the national flag carrier announced Monday.
The flights will be operated three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, the company said in a written statement.
Direct flights will last until Sept. 23, the statement said.
"Now it is much easier to reach country’s tourism center, Antalya from Algeria with these direct flights," it added.
Turkey's flag carrier flies to nearly 300 destinations in 120 countries, more than any other airline, according to the company.
