ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkey's automotive exports amounted to $2.6 billion in October, with a decline of 10.6% on a yearly basis, a sectoral association said on Wednesday.
The Uludag Automotive Industry Exporters' Association said the sector's share in the country's overall exports was 12.5% last month.
It added that the sector's 10-month exports were around $23.9 billion.
Baran Celik, the head of the association, said that despite the decline in October, the sector had achieved its second-highest export figures for this year last month.
Germany was the main destination for its exports, followed by France and the UK.
