BRUSSELS (AA) – Turkish National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar on Thursday met with his US and British counterparts in Brussels.
Akar and British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace discussed bilateral and regional defense and security as well as defense industry cooperation.
Separately, Akar and US Defense Secretary Lloyd James Austin held a short meeting before a larger gathering of their counterparts.
Akar and Austin discussed the need to hold a detailed meeting to establish a positive agenda before the two-day G20 leaders' summit this weekend in Rome.
The defense chiefs are currently Brussels to attend a two-day meeting of their NATO counterparts.
