ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkish modular building manufacturer Karmod completed the installation of a prefabricated office and training building at the Nilufer Organized Industrial Zone in Bursa, the company said in a statement on Wednesday.

The two-story facility, covering 576 square meters, will be used for the zone’s construction services and general training activities.

“We are partnering with leading industrial zones across Türkiye by providing new-generation prefabricated office buildings,” said Ugur Kadir, Karmod’s general manager.

“With our durable, next-generation prefabricated structures, we are building sustainable buildings,” he added.

Kadir emphasized that Karmod’s prefabricated solutions offer several advantages, including eco-friendly materials, modern production models, easy transport, and rapid installation.

“Their long service life and reusability make them a strong sustainable alternative to traditional construction,” he said.

According to Kadir, the company completed the 576-square-meter office building in just 20 days. “Nilufer industrial zone hosts 320 factories contributing nearly $1 billion in exports to the Turkish economy. We are proud to have delivered this office building in such a short time,” he said.

While the structure is designed for long-term use, Kadir said that part of the building will be dedicated to training activities for the industrial zone.
