ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkish manufacturer Karmod has exported 30 pedal-powered plastic boats to Georgia, the company announced on Monday.
The boats, produced at Karmod facilities in Türkiye, will be used at a seaside entertainment venue on the Black Sea coast in Batumi.
Karmod Plastic Group's Export Coordinator Abdullah Yuzugulec said demand for the company's pedal boats, developed for the leisure industry, has been growing across Europe and Central Asia.
"Our pedal boats are a popular recreational choice at beaches, lakes, and ponds, offering a fun and safe experience on the water," Yuzugulec said. "We are seeing strong interest from countries like France, Italy, Bulgaria, Romania, as well as Georgia and Azerbaijan."
The company, which also produces other water-based recreational equipment such as water slides, completed the Georgia order in just nine days.
Yuzugulec said the boats, also referred to as pedal boats in European markets, are available in various colors and include models with sun-protection canopies.
"Thanks to their lightweight structure and maneuverability, these boats offer an enjoyable and practical water activity," he said.
"For the Georgia project, we completed production of 30 pedal boats in nine days and shipped them to Batumi, where they will be used along the Black Sea coast."
