ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkish manufacturing company Karmod said Monday that the Molozsut, its chutes designed for high-rise construction projects, facilitates following best occupational health and safety (OHS) practices in construction.
Karmod CEO Talay Ozturk said in a company statement that with the use of Molozsut, occupational accidents caused by debris disposal from a height are completely prevented.
Saying that plastic rubble towers, which were developed and produced in Türkiye a few years ago, are vitally important in terms of worker health, especially for high-rise construction, Ozturk said: "Molozsut ensures that the rough wastes generated in high-rise construction, renovation, roof repair, and demolition are safely lowered to the ground."
Ozturk noted that through this system, occupational accidents caused by indiscriminate debris disposal from the upper floors of construction are completely prevented, and with further compliance with OHS rules in construction projects, the demand for Molozsut products increases.
Plastic water tanks attract a lot of interest in the summer months and Molozsut has recently been added to this product, Ozturk expressed, saying that Molozsut is preferred in many construction projects with its easy assembly, practicality, and reusable nature.
- Minimizing noise pollution
Molozsut also helps reduce noise pollution with its sound-absorbing feature, Ozturk said, adding that it is "assembled in a modular partial production interlocking system with its conical design."
He also noted: "It can be easily installed on the exterior of the building from the top floor to the ground in the form of a tower. Debris can be disposed of each floor by means of the crenellations left on the floors."
"It has an installation feature that can be easily adjusted according to the floor spacing at different heights. It can be used from project to project by assembling and disassembling several times."
"With its interlocking system, it can be stored by taking up very little space. We produce the rubble box with the use of high-density HDPE polyethylene raw material," he said.
"The feature of this material is that it is very light and has high impact resistance. The debris disposed from above is silently lowered to the ground with the raw material used and the conical system feature."
"It prevents noise caused by debris disposal in construction. HDPE polyethylene is also an environmentally friendly material in terms of sustainability. It can be completely recycled and reused," Ozturk added.
