Turkish FM attends WEF dinner in Geneva

Cavusoglu to also attend leaders’ meeting entitled 'Strategic Dialogue on the Western Balkans'

GENEVA (AA) – Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu attended an official dinner Monday held by the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Geneva.

The dinner was hosted at WEF headquarters, where the organization’s founder and executive chairman, Klaus Schwab, delivered the opening speech.

Europe’s role in the current global context, recent developments shaping the Balkan region as well as international gatherings and partners influencing the region’s progress were discussed.

Cavusoglu is also scheduled to attend a leaders’ meeting in Geneva Tuesday entitled ‘Strategic Dialogue on the Western Balkans’.
