ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkish Super Lig club Goztepe's president Mehmet Sepil has tested positive for coronavirus, officials said on Wednesday.

Sepil has quarantined himself at home, and is in good health overall, the Union of Turkish Football Clubs said in a statement.

The 65-year-old is also the chairman of the Clubs Union Foundation. He replaced former Besiktas president Fikret Orman in 2019.

Goztepe is a sports club based in Izmir, Turkey’s third-largest city.
