ANKARA (AA) - Turkish's foreign minister on Wednesday spoke with his Jordanian counterpart over the phone, according to diplomatic sources.
Turkey's Mevlut Cavusoglu and Syria's Ayman Safadi discussed a suspended free trade agreement between the two countries, the sources said on condition of anonymity due to restrictions on speaking to the media.
The pact was implemented between Turkey and Jordan in 2011 but was suspended by Jordan this March to protect its domestic industry.
